2025 Benelli TRK 502 & TRK 502X Launched - Updates Galore
India's Adventure Touring (ADV) motorcycle segment has seen significant growth, with more enthusiasts gravitating towards this versatile riding style. Among the popular multi-cylinder ADVs, the Benelli TRK 502 series stands out for being an affordable option within this category. Benelli has now launched the 2025 versions of the TRK 502 and TRK 502X in India, enhancing their appeal with additional features and technology aimed at Indian riders.
The pricing strategy for the 2025 TRK series sees the Benelli TRK 502 priced at Rs 6.2 lakh (Ex-showroom), while the TRK 502X is set at Rs 6.7 lakh (Ex-showroom). The TRK 502X also comes in a special LE variant available in Yellow, priced slightly higher at Rs 6.85 lakh (Ex-showroom), due to its unique colour option. This represents a Rs 40,000 increase for the TRK 502 over its previous model, reflecting the enhancements and added features. The TRK 502 is tailored for road touring and is available in Black or White, whereas the TRK 502X, designed for more rugged adventures, comes in standard White and Green colours.

The 2025 Benelli TRK 502 and TRK 502X have been launched with an emphasis on more touring-friendly features. These bikes now include a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), heated grips, and heated seats, catering to the needs of long-distance riders. Among the mechanical upgrades is a revised aluminium swingarm, which is potentially lighter than its predecessor, enhancing the motorcycle's performance and handling. Further elevating the touring experience, these updates ensure that the TRK series remains a top choice for adventure seekers.
Touring and Technology Enhancements
A significant addition to both 2025 models is the new 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, which supports Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, making it easier for riders to stay on course during their adventures. The improved switchgear enhances user interaction with this advanced cluster. Notably, the 2025 TRK 502X distinguishes itself with tubeless wire-spoke spoke tyres, contributing to its robust off-road capabilities. Despite these updates, the motorcycles retain their core components, such as USD front forks, a rear mono-shock, twin disc brakes at the front, a single disc brake at the rear, dual channel ABS, LED lighting, and split seats.

Under the hood, the 2025 Benelli TRK 502 and TRK 502X are powered by the same 500cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, producing about 46 bhp of peak power and 46 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This reliable powertrain ensures a smooth and responsive ride across various terrains. The primary competitor for these Benelli models is the Honda NX500, which is lighter and comes at a lower price point, presenting a challenge for Benelli in attracting adventure touring enthusiasts.
In conclusion, the 2025 Benelli TRK 502 and TRK 502X mark a significant update in Benelli's ADV lineup, offering improved features and technology without compromising on the performance that riders have come to expect. These enhancements, along with the price adjustments, position the TRK series as a competitive choice in India's growing adventure motorcycle market.
