Yamaha R15M Carbon Fibre Trim Variant Launched In India At Rs 2.08 Lakh
Yamaha Motor India has introduced the R15M, featuring a new carbon fibre trim variant. The Grey version is priced at ₹1,98,300, while the carbon option costs ₹2,08,300. Both prices are ex-showroom.
New Features and Design
The Carbon Fibre Pattern on the R15M is inspired by the R1M's carbon bodywork and applied using water-dipping technology. This pattern is visible on the front cowl, side fairings, and rear side panels. Additionally, the bike features an all-black fender, new decals on the tank and sides fairing, and blue wheels.

Recent updates to the R15M include Turn-by-Turn Navigation and music and volume control capabilities. These features can be accessed via the Y-Connect Application available on both Android and iOS devices. Riders need to download this app to connect their smartphones with the motorcycle.
Specifications
The Yamaha R15M continues with its fuel-injected 155 cc engine that produces a maximum torque of 14.2 Nm at 7,500 rpm and a peak power of 18.10 bhp at 10,000 rpm. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox featuring slip and assist clutch along with a quickshifter. The bike also includes traction control and VVA that activates at 7,400 rpm.

There are no mechanical changes in this model. It maintains its robust performance specifications that have been appreciated by riders since its launch in 2008.
