Yamaha Introduces Exciting New Colour Options for MT-03 and MT-25 Motorcycles
Yamaha has introduced new colour options for its popular motorcycle models, the MT-03 and MT-25, in the global market. The MT-03 and YZF-R3 were launched in India last December, but the MT-25 is yet to make its debut in the country. The new colour options are expected to be available in India by July 30, 2024.
The MT-03 now comes in Dark Bluish Gray Metallic, Deep Purplish Blue Metallic, and Dark Matte Gray Metallic. These same colours are also available for the MT-25. Despite these updates, Yamaha has not announced any changes to the pricing of either model. There is no information on whether these new colours will lead to a price increase.
Both motorcycles share the same chassis and design philosophy, making them look quite similar. However, they differ significantly in terms of engine specifications. The MT-03 is powered by a 321 cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine that delivers 41.4 bhp and 29.5 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch.
The MT-25, on the other hand, is equipped with a smaller 249 cc parallel-twin DOHC 4V liquid-cooled engine. It produces 35 bhp and 22.6 Nm of torque, also mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Both motorcycles feature LED headlights, LED turn indicators, fairing-mounted ORVMs, stylish handlebars, sculpted fuel tanks, and split-style seats.

The instrument cluster on both models provides essential information such as fuel level, gear position, real-time and average fuel efficiency, trip meter, and clock. These features contribute to their robotic appearance and overall appeal.
Currently, the MT-03 is available in India in Midnight Black and Midnight Cyan colour options. The introduction of new colours is expected to enhance its appeal among Indian consumers.
Yamaha's Market Reception and Future Plans
Yamaha's MT series has seen decent success in India. The company aims to boost the popularity of the MT-03 by offering these new colour options. This move is anticipated to be well-received by the Indian audience.
While there is no word on when the MT-25 will be launched in India, enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for its arrival. Yamaha continues to focus on expanding its market presence with these updates.
The new colour options for the MT-03 and MT-25 reflect Yamaha's commitment to providing more choices to its customers globally. As these models gain popularity, it remains to be seen how they will perform in the competitive Indian market.
