Vida V2 Launched In India - Prices Start At Rs 96,000
Vida, the EV sub-brand of the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp, has launched the new V2 scooter lineup in India. Prices for the Vida V2 start at Rs 96,000 (ex-showroom).
The Vida V2 is offered in three distinct variants - Lite, Plus and Pro. The Vida V2 Lite is priced at Rs 96,000, the V2 Plus costs Rs 1,15,000, while the top-spec Pro variant commands a price tag of Rs 1,35,000 (all prices are ex-showroom).

The Honda Vida V2 Lite is the most affordable variant in the new Vida V2 lineup and features a single 2.2kWh battery pack. The Vida V2 Lite's battery pack delivers an IDC range of 94km on a single charge. The V2 sprints from 0-40km/h in 4.2 seconds, has a top speed of 69km/h and offers two riding modes - Eco and City.
The V2 Plus is the mid-spec variant of the new Vida V2 lineup and comes with two removable battery packs that offer a total capacity of 3.4kWh, which allows for an IDC range of 143km on a single charge. The Vida V2 Plus comes with three riding modes - Eco, City and Sports - and it can sprint from 0-40km/h in 3.4 seconds and tops out at 85km/h.

The Vida V2 Pro's dual, removable battery pack setup offers a total capacity of 3.9kWh, good enough for an IDC range of 165km. The Vida V2 Pro offers four riding modes - Eco, City, Sports and Custom - and can sprint from 0-40km/h in just 2.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 90km/h.
Charging the V2 Lite takes 3 and a half hours while the V2 Plus takes 5 hours and 15 minutes and the Pro tops up in 5 hours and 55 minutes (connected to a home /portable charger). When connected to a fast DC charges, the V2 Lite adds 1km of range every minute while the Plus and Pro add 1.2km of range for every minute they are plugged in.
All three variants of the Hero Vida V2 feature a mid-mounted motor that delivers a peak output of 8.04bhp and 25Nm. The continuous power output of the Vida V2 lineup's electric motor is capped at 5.22bhp.
All three variants of the V2 also feature a 26-litre boot, 12-inch alloy wheels, a disc and drum brake setup and a 3 years/ 30,000km warranty on the battery pack (5 years/ 50,000km for the scooter).
All three models also share a 7-inch TFT screen, and LED lighting setup and share four colour options between them - Matte Abrax Orange, Glossy Sports Red, Glossy Black and Matte White. The Plus variant adds Matte Cyan to the mix while the Pro features both Matte Cyan and Matte Nexus Blue.
