Updated TVS Apache RR310 Launched In India At Rs 2.75 Lakh
TVS Motor Company has introduced the 2024 Apache RR310 in India, starting at Rs. 2.75 lakh for the Racing Red variant without the bi-directional quickshifter. With this feature, it costs Rs. 2.92 lakh, while the new Bomber Grey shade is priced at Rs. 2.97 lakh. The BTO programme offers Dynamic and Dynamic Pro kits as optional upgrades.
The Dynamic kit includes adjustable front and rear suspension, a brass-coated chain, and TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) for Rs. 18,000. The Dynamic Pro kit adds Dynamic Stability Control for Rs. 16,000. Additionally, the Racing Replica paint scheme is available for an extra Rs. 7,000 and can be personalised with a competition number on the visor.

The updated Apache RR310 also boasts a transparent clutch cover and new aero winglets similar to those on MotoGP bikes. These winglets are crucial for generating downforce, enhancing stability and control by preventing excessive wheelies and improving grip.
The powertrain of the Apache RR310 has been upgraded to match improvements seen in the Apache RTR 310. The 312.2 cc reverse-inclined single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC fuel-injected engine now produces 38 PS at 9,800 rpm and 29 Nm at 7,900 rpm, paired with a six-speed transmission featuring a slipper and assist clutch as standard.

TVS has increased the airbox volume by 13 per cent, enlarged the throttle body diameter, and optimised snorkel length to improve volumetric efficiency. These changes contribute to better overall performance across the rev range.
The forged pistons are now 10 per cent lighter with more durable piston rings, allowing the engine to rev faster than before. TVS claims that these modifications have resulted in improved acceleration throughout the rev range.

In addition to these mechanical upgrades, TVS has introduced Dynamic Stability Control to further enhance safety and stability on the road. While the Apache RR310 does not feature heated or cooled seats like its sibling, the Apache RTR 310, it does come equipped with cruise control and a bi-directional quickshifter.
The aerodynamic enhancements provided by the winglets play a significant role in maintaining front-wheel stability and control, contributing to overall safety by keeping the motorcycle stable during high-speed rides.
The updated features of the Apache RR310 make it a compelling choice for motorcycle enthusiasts looking for enhanced performance and safety features in their ride.
