Bajaj Pulsar N250 To Get More Features – Traction Control, Smartphone Connectivity & More
The Bajaj Pulsar N250 is gearing up to set a new standard in the Indian motorcycle industry. This model is not just another addition to the Pulsar series; it's a significant upgrade that brings a suite of advanced features to the table.
Among these, the introduction of a traction control system stands out, marking a first for Bajaj motorcycles. This feature, designed to enhance rider safety and control, is switchable, allowing riders to adapt to different riding conditions. Adding to its safety arsenal, the Pulsar N250 will also include ABS modes.

This system is expected to come with three levels of sensitivity, catering to various riding environments and preferences. From maximum intrusion for wet conditions to a setting that allows for rear-wheel slides, these modes aim to provide a tailored braking experience.
Technology and connectivity also receive a boost with the new fully digital instrument console. This feature promises smartphone connectivity, enabling riders to receive call and SMS alerts on the go. It implies an updated switchgear layout, with additional buttons for easy navigation through the menu and settings.

On the hardware front, the Pulsar N250 will see significant upgrades, including upside-down shocks and petal discs for improved braking performance. The bike will also sport 17-inch wheels and possibly a wider tyre, moving from a 130-section to a 140-section.
Despite these enhancements, the heart of the bike, a 250cc, oil-cooled engine, remains unchanged, delivering 24.1bhp and 21.5Nm of torque through a five-speed gearbox. Bajaj plans to offer the N250 in two colours: red and black.
With these upgrades, the model is poised for a price increase, estimated to be around Rs. 10,000 more than the current retail price of Rs. 1.50 lakh. The Pulsar N250 is expected to compete closely with the Suzuki Gixxer SF, offering superior value for money through its new features and improvements.
