India's Two-Wheeler Sales For June 2024: A Comprehensive Analysis
Sales figures for the top 10 two-wheelers in India for June 2024 have been released, revealing a notable shift in consumer preferences. Heroendor leads the list with 3,05,586 units sold, marking a 28.21% year-on-year growth and capturing a 27.33% market share.
Top Performers in June 2024
Honda Activa follows closely with sales of 2,33,376 units, reflecting an impressive 78.38% growth compared to the previous year and securing a 20.87% market share. Honda Shine also performed well, selling 1,39,587 units, which represents a 40.64% increase from June 2023 and a 12.48% market share.

Bajaj Pulsar maintained its steady performance with sales of 1,11,101 units, showing a modest growth of 3.63% and holding a market share of 9.94%. Hero HF Deluxe saw minimal growth of 0.75%, with sales reaching 89,941 units and retaining an 8.04% market share.
Other Notable Performances
TVS Jupiter scooter enjoyed solid growth of 12.21%, selling 72,100 units and capturing a market share of 6.45%. Similarly, Suzuki Access showed robust growth by selling 52,192 units and securing a market share of 4.67%. TVS XL 100 moped registered a growth of 17.10%, with sales hitting 40,397 units and holding a market share of 3.61%.

TVS Apache saw significant growth with sales of 37,162 units, marking an increase of 32.12% and capturing a market share of 3.32%. Notably, the Ola S1 electric scooter showcased remarkable growth by selling 36,723 units and holding a market share of 3.28%, reflecting an impressive increase of 107.57% year-on-year.
Month-on-Month Comparison
In terms of month-on-month comparison for June 2024, overall sales declined by approximately 1.5%. Hero Splendor led the list again with slight month-on-month growth by selling an additional 923 units compared to May.

Honda Activa demonstrated significant month-on-month growth by increasing its sales by 17,024 units from May to June. On the contrary, Honda Shine experienced a decline in sales by dropping to -6.35%, with sales decreasing by around 9,467 units compared to May.
Bajaj Pulsar saw a considerable reduction in monthly sales with a drop of -13.53%, translating to about -17,379 fewer units sold compared to May's figures. Hero HF Deluxe recorded an uptick in monthly sales by adding approximately +2,798 more units than in May.
Scooters and Mopeds Performance
TVS Jupiter faced a decline in monthly sales by -4.93%, resulting in about -3,738 fewer units sold compared to May's numbers while Suzuki Access showed a significant drop as well by -19.47%, equating to about -12,620 fewer units sold month-on-month.
TVS XL100 remained steady with minimal change in monthly figures showing just 3 more units sold than May's numbers while TVS Apache saw a slight decline in monthly performance by -1.96%, translating into about -744 fewer units sold compared to the previous month's figures.

The Ola S1 electric scooter showed a minor reduction in monthly performance as well with about -502 fewer units sold compared to May's numbers but still managed impressive yearly growth overall.
The total number of two-wheelers sold among the top ten models reached over eleven lakh for June alone indicating strong demand across various segments within India's two-wheeler industry despite some fluctuations observed every month across different models mentioned above.
