TVS Ronin Prices Now Start At Just Rs 1.35 Lakh: Rs 15,000 Cheaper Than Original Price
TVS Motor, a leading name in India's two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturing sector, is making headlines as it rolls out attractive price revisions on its products this festive season. Following the significant price cut on TVS Raider 125, the spotlight now turns to the TVS Ronin, which has seen a price reduction ahead of the festive rush.
As one of the most anticipated updates, the base variant of Ronin, known as Ronin SS, has seen a price drop to Rs 1.35 lakh (Ex-showroom), making it Rs 15,000 cheaper than its original price. This update was shared by automotive aficionado, Yashraj, highlighting the brand's strategy to appeal more to its customer base during the festive period.

Despite the enticing offer on the Ronin SS variant, it's worth noting that this price adjustment does not extend to all models in the Ronin lineup. The Ronin DS, Ronin TD, and the Ronin TD Special Edition variants remain priced as before, indicating a selective approach to the brand's pricing strategy.
This has led to an increased price gap between the base model Ronin SS and its immediate successor, the Ronin DS, which now stands at Rs 21,700. This adjustment brings into focus the differentiating factors among the variants, especially considering features such as dual-channel ABS, which is not included in the Ronin DS upgrade but is available with the Ronin TD for an additional Rs 34,000 over the Ronin SS.

In a market where competition is fierce, TVS Motor aims to position the Ronin more competitively against rivals like the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. By setting the revised price of the Ronin SS significantly lower, TVS hopes to undercut its competitor by Rs 15,000, making it an attractive option for potential buyers looking for value and performance. This strategic pricing is part of TVS Motor's broader vision to enhance its market presence during the festive season, a crucial period for vehicle sales in India.
As for the TVS Ronin itself, the motorcycle remains unchanged apart from the updated pricing for its base variant. It continues to feature a distinctive neo-retro Roadster design, complemented by premium components and advanced features.

The bike is equipped with a 225.9cc SOHC 4V oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 20.4 PS of peak power and 19.93 Nm of peak torque, coupled with a 5-speed gearbox.
Among its notable features are the USD telescopic front forks in a gold shade, a 7-step preload adjustable rear mono-shock, 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires, and a fully-digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity.
DriveSpark Thinks
TVS Motor's recent price revision for the Ronin, particularly the base variant Ronin SS, reflects the brand's strategic approach to offering value to its customers during the festive season.
While the selective price cuts highlight the company's focus on specific segments of its product line, the overall aim is to enhance the appeal of the Ronin in a competitive market. With its unique design, robust features, and now more attractive pricing, the Ronin stands as a testament to TVS Motor's commitment to delivering quality and value to its customers.
