TVS Ronin Parakram Edition: Celebrating Kargil War Heroes With Unique Tribute
TVS RONIN has introduced a special edition motorcycle, the TVS RONIN Parakram, to honour the Indian Armed Forces' bravery during the 1999 Kargil War.
This custom-built bike, crafted by East India Motorcycle Revolution Customs, features a distinctive design and paintwork to mark the Silver Jubilee of Victory Day. The motorcycle embodies the fearless spirit of the Indian soldiers with its rugged and audacious features.
Unique Design Elements
The TVS RONIN Parakram's rear section has been modified by trimming the subframe and adding a stainless steel luggage carrier.
This alteration enhances its utility while maintaining a robust appearance. Knobby tyres have been used to give the bike an adventurous 'go-anywhere' look, symbolising the fearlessness of Indian soldiers.
The front and rear mudguards feature images of soldiers' valour embedded in the paint job, adding a unique touch to the bike's aesthetics. The indicators are machined in brass and inspired by bullets, further enhancing its military theme.
Special Features
A circular lamp with '99' inscribed on it has been added to the left side cover. This lamp lights up in a gentle yellow hue, paying homage to the year of the Kargil War. The seat and handle grips are covered in suede leather, providing both comfort and style.
The paint job is particularly noteworthy. The top of the tank is painted to resemble steel armour, featuring the Kargil Diwas logo prominently. The knee recesses are painted olive green with images from the Kargil War embedded in them, creating a striking visual effect. The side cover also showcases war images embedded within it.
Symbolic Paintwork
The tank carries the tricolour on its side, which extends to the headlamp unit, symbolising national pride. This unique paintwork not only enhances the bike's appearance but also serves as a tribute to the Indian Armed Forces.
