TVS Radeon Base Variant: Top 5 Things To Know
TVS Motor Company recently introduced a more budget-friendly version of the Radeon commuter motorcycle. This new base model, available in an all-black colour, is priced at ₹58,880 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it ₹2,525 cheaper than its previous cost. Interestingly, this base variant is also ₹17,514 less expensive than the mid-tier option. The Radeon now comes in three variants: Base, Digi Drum, and Digi Disc.
Design
The latest base variant of the TVS Radeon sports an all-black paint job with a bronze engine cover for contrast. The TVS and Radeon logos remain on the fuel tank and side panels. Apart from these changes, the bike retains its original design and is offered in seven different colours, including the new all-black option.

Engine & Specifications
The TVS Radeon is powered by a 109.7 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. This engine delivers 8.08 bhp at 7350 rpm and 8.7 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. It is paired with a 4-speed gearbox. The bike's structure includes a single cradle tubular frame with telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear.
Braking System
The braking system on the TVS Radeon consists of a 130 mm front drum brake for most variants, while the top variant features a 240 mm front disc brake combined with a rear drum brake setup of 110 mm. All versions ride on 18-inch alloy wheels and include a Combined Braking System (CBS).
Other Details
Additional features on the base variant of the Radeon motorcycle include a colour LCD screen and USB charging port. With a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres, the TVS Radeon weighs 113 kg for the drum variant and 115 kg for the disc variant. It offers a ground clearance of 180 mm, making it suitable for various road conditions.

In terms of competition, the TVS Radeon faces rivals like Honda CD 110 Dream DX, Hero Splendor Plus, Bajaj Platina among others in the commuter motorcycle segment.
