TVS To Launch Special NTorq Black Edition In India With Advanced Features
TVS NTorq is a popular scooter in India, competing with models like the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125, and Yamaha Fascino. Reports indicate that TVS plans to launch a special edition of the NTorq, named the TVS NTorq Black Edition. This new variant will feature an all-black design.
Recently, TVS released a teaser image showcasing the tail LED light of the NTorq Black Edition. This follows the launch of the Black Dark editions for the Apache RTR 160 4V and Apache RTR 160 2V models. The teaser suggests that the NTorq Black Edition will be available soon, likely timed with the upcoming festive season.
The TVS NTorq is currently available in five variants: NTorq 125, NTorq 125 Race Edition, NTorq 125 Super Squad Edition, NTorq 125 Race XP, and NTorq 125 XT. The Black Edition will be the sixth variant. The starting price for this scooter is ₹95,120 ex-showroom in Chennai, with the highest price being ₹1.11 lakh ex-showroom.
Pre-booking for the TVS NTorq Black Edition has already begun, as confirmed by the teaser image. However, TVS has not disclosed any additional details about this special edition. It is expected that only cosmetic changes have been made to give it a glamorous look.
The TVS NTorq comes equipped with several technological features. These include TVS SmartXonnect connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, and SmartXtalk feature. Additionally, it offers SmartXtrack, which provides updates on cricket scores, social media, news, weather alerts, and more.
The engine of this scooter is a 124.8 cc single-cylinder unit. The power output varies by variant: the Race XP and Race XT variants produce 10.2 hp and 10.8 Nm torque, while other variants generate 9.4 hp and 10.5 Nm torque.
Reliable sources suggest that apart from its all-black decoration, no other modifications have been made to the scooter. Therefore, it is expected to be similar to the regular NTorq currently available in the market.
In India, automobile manufacturers often introduce special editions and offers to attract customers ahead of significant dates like August 15th. In this context, TVS has released a teaser image of the new NTorq model version. It is anticipated that this model will be launched for sale soon.
