TVS Motor Teases New NTorq 125 Black Edition: Start Your Engines
TVS Motor Company has released a teaser for the new NTorq 125 Black Edition on social media. Pre-bookings for this special edition scooter, which features an all-black paint scheme, are now open.
The NTorq 125 Black Edition is expected to be similar to the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Apache RTR 160 2V Black Editions launched earlier this year.
TVS NTorq 125 Black Edition: What to Expect?
The upcoming NTorq 125 Black Edition will likely feature a stealth-like paint scheme with new graphics. The exterior will be entirely blacked out, including the mudguards, apron, and side panels. However, there won't be any design changes, and it may come in higher variants with an LED headlamp.
The TVS NTorq Black Edition is anticipated to retain the same mechanical specifications. It will continue using the 124.8 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected, three-valve motor that produces 9.25 bhp and 10.5 Nm of peak torque, paired with a CVT unit. Additionally, there's the more powerful NTorq Race XP variant with 10.06 bhp and 10.8 Nm of torque.
Performance and Pricing
The Race XP trim can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 8.3 seconds and has a top speed of 98 kmph. The TVS NTorq 125 range starts at ₹89,641 for the Race Edition and goes up to ₹1.06 lakh for the XT variant with dual screens and connectivity features.
The NTorq XP is priced slightly lower at ₹97,491 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Black Edition is expected to command a small premium over these current models.
The NTorq 125 competes with other scooters like the Aprilia SR125, Suzuki Burgman Street EX, and Honda Grazia in its segment. The new TVS NTorq 125 Black Edition is expected to launch in a few days and will likely be based on the Race XP variant.
The Black Edition is expected to further the appeal of this in the market, offering a unique and stylish option for those looking for a modern and dynamic two-wheeler in the 125cc segment.
