2024 TVS Jupiter 110: Top 5 Things You Need To Know
The TVS Jupiter 110 scooter has undergone its first major update since its launch eleven years ago. The 2024 model now features a new engine, advanced technology, updated styling, and improved practicality. Prices for the updated model start at Rs 73,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi), with an increase of Rs 50 from the previous version.
Powertrain
The new 113cc engine in the Jupiter 110 is derived from the Jupiter 125's motor. This engine delivers peak outputs of 8hp and 9.8Nm, which is a slight increase from its predecessor. The boost in performance is partly due to the inclusion of 'iGO Assist' micro-hybrid technology, a segment-first feature that provides extra power when needed.

Design and Features
The design of the 2024 Jupiter 110 has taken inspiration from the Jupiter 125. It now sports large LED DRLs at both the front and rear, integrated turn signals, and sharper body panels. This makes it one of the most stylish scooters in the 110cc category.
A notable feature is the new fuel tank, which has been relocated under the floorboard for better convenience. The scooter also boasts a spacious 33-litre under-seat storage area, capable of holding two half-face helmets. However, fitting an imported full-face helmet remains a challenge.

Technology and Safety
The top variants of the Jupiter 110 come equipped with a Bluetooth-compatible digital display that offers turn-by-turn navigation, call and notification alerts, and voice assistance. The TVS SmartXconnect app enhances these features by allowing users to pair their smartphones with the scooter's dashboard.
Another safety feature includes rapid flashing indicators during hard braking situations. Additionally, these indicators automatically turn off after covering a distance of 100 meters or after 20 seconds post-turn.

Variants and Pricing
The updated TVS Jupiter 110 is available in four variants: Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SmartXconnect, and Disc SmartXconnect. It comes in six different colors across all variants. Although prices have increased slightly by Rs 50 from the previous model, we are yet to receive the complete price list.
In terms of competition within this segment, other popular options include the Honda Activa priced between Rs 76,684 - Rs 82,684 and Hero Pleasure ranging from Rs 74,663 - Rs 83,113 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

Performance Enhancements
The Jupiter 110 stands out as it runs on 12-inch wheels fitted with 90/90-12 tyres at both ends. The top variants feature a front disc brake measuring 220mm while all variants use a rear drum brake sized at 130mm.
Additionally, start/stop technology has been introduced to improve fuel efficiency further. This feature is becoming increasingly common in modern motorcycles.
