New TVS iQube Electric Scooter Variants Introduced: Becomes A Lot More Affordable

In a significant move to bolster its presence in the burgeoning electric vehicle market in India, TVS has recently expanded its lineup with the introduction of two new variants of its popular iQube electric scooter. These latest additions come equipped with enhanced battery capacities.

The newly launched variants of the TVS iQube electric scooter are distinguished by their battery capacities. One variant boasts a 2.2kWh battery pack, while the other comes with a more robust 3.4kWh battery pack.

TVS has set an introductory price of Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom) for the variant equipped with the 2.2kWh battery pack. This model is capable of achieving a top speed of 75km/h and can be charged from 0 to 80% in just two hours.

It features a vibrant 5-inch colour TFT screen, offering functionalities such as vehicle cross and tow alert features for enhanced safety, alongside turn-by-turn navigation and a generous under-seat storage capacity of 30 litres.

Colour options for this scooter include Walnut Brown and Pearl White, providing consumers with aesthetic choices to match their personal style. In addition to these variants, TVS has also rolled out the ST variants of the iQube, available with either a 3.4kWh or a more substantial 5.1kWh battery pack.

These new variants are priced at Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 1.83 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively, offering varied options to meet different usage patterns and budget considerations. The 3.4kWh variant promises a range of up to 100km on a full charge, requiring approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes for 80% charge.

On the other hand, the top-of-the-line model with a 5.1kWh battery pack sets a new benchmark in the segment by offering a range of up to 150 kilometres on a single charge and takes about 4 hours and 18 minutes for 80% charge.

Advanced Features For An Enhanced Riding Experience

These scooters are not just about range and speed; they come packed with advanced features for an improved riding experience. The TVS iQube variant with the 7-inch TFT display includes connected features like a tyre pressure monitoring system and boasts a spacious boot space of 32 litres.

While designed for maximum speeds of up to 82km/h for the top variant and limited to 78km/h for the 3.4kWh version, both models share similar high-end features.

Available in five attractive colour options including Copper Bronze Matte, Coral Sand Stain, Titanium Gray Matte, and Star Light Blue, these scooters are designed to appeal to a wide audience. With their competitive pricing, especially for the model priced under Rs 1 lakh, TVS aims to capture a significant share of the electric scooter market in India.
