New TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Launched At Rs 1.39 Lakh - Gets USD Forks & More Tech
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer TVS launched the updated version of the Apache RTR 160 4V in India. The new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is priced at Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom) and gets new features and tech.
The upgrades to the new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V come in the form of segment-first USD front forks. Another segment first comes in the form of three riding modes - Sport, Urban, and Rain - which the firm claims helps enhance control, stability, and adaptability of the updated Apache RTR 160 4V in diverse riding conditions.
Other than the new USD forks and riding modes, the new Apache RTR 160 4V remains unchanged mechanically with its 159.7cc, oil-cooled, fuel-injected, 4-valve engine pushing out 17.3bhp at 9,250rpm and 14.73Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
Suspension duties are handled by the new USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both ends that are aided by dual-channel ABS. The new Apache continues to ride on 17-inch wheels.
The new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V comes sports a digital display with the firm's SmartXonnect suite that enables features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and voice assist through Bluetooth.
The new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V also features TVS's Glide Through Tech for a smooth ride in heavy traffic. The bike also features adjustable brake and clutch levers and is offered in three colour options: Granite Grey, Matte Black, and Pearl White.
