Triumph is set to introduce the Daytona 660 in India tomorrow. This new model will be the most powerful motorcycle in Triumph's 660 range, featuring the same engine as the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660.

The Daytona 660 will be powered by a 660cc inline three-cylinder engine, delivering 95hp at 11,250rpm and 69Nm at 8,250rpm. This output is higher by 14hp and 5Nm compared to its naked and adventure siblings.

Features and Specifications

The Daytona 660 comes with three riding modes: Rain, Road, and Sport. It also features Showa USD forks at the front and a Showa monoshock at the rear with preload adjustment capabilities.

For braking, it uses twin 310mm discs at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres and a wet weight of 201kg.

Internationally, the Daytona 660 is priced slightly lower than the Tiger Sport 660. Upon its launch in India, it will compete with models like the Kawasaki Ninja 650, Aprilia RS 660, Honda CBR650R, and Suzuki GSX-8R.

"The all-new Daytona 660 will set a new benchmark in our lineup," said a Triumph spokesperson. "We are excited to bring this powerful machine to our Indian customers."

The introduction of the Daytona 660 marks an important step for Triumph in expanding its presence in India's competitive motorcycle market. Enthusiasts eagerly await its arrival to experience its enhanced performance and features.
