Triumph Daytona 660 Deliveries Begin: Prices Start At Rs 9.72 Lakhs
The Triumph Daytona 660, a sports tourer, has been introduced to the Indian market. It is priced at ₹9.72 lakh ex-showroom. Deliveries of this motorcycle have begun in India. The Daytona 660 rivals models like the Kawasaki Ninja 650, Aprilia RS 660, and Suzuki GSX-8R.
The Daytona 660 shares its engine with the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660. This engine is an in-line three-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit with a 240-degree firing order. Triumph has adjusted its tuning to produce 93.70 bhp at 11,250 rpm and a peak torque of 69 Nm at 8,250 rpm.

In comparison, the Trident 660 generates 80 bhp at 10,250 rpm and a torque of 64 Nm at 6,250 rpm. Both motorcycles come with a six-speed transmission. The service interval for the Daytona is set at either every 16,000 km or annually.
The Daytona features three riding modes: Road, Rain, and the newly added Sport mode. These modes enhance the riding experience by adjusting power delivery and traction control settings according to different conditions.
Hardware Components of Triumph Daytona
The motorcycle's frame is made from tubular steel perimeter design. It uses Showa suspension components: upside-down separate function Big Piston forks with a travel of 110 mm at the front and a monoshock with preload adjustment offering 130 mm travel at the rear.
For braking, it includes twin front discs measuring 310 mm with four-piston calipers and a single rear disc of 220 mm with a single-piston caliper. Dual-channel ABS is standard on this model to ensure safety during braking.

Colour Options for Triumph Daytona
The Daytona is available in three colours: Satin Granite, Sapphire Black, and Carnival Red. These options provide buyers with choices to suit their personal style preferences.
