Triumph Daytona 660 Begins Arrival At Indian Dealerships With Advanced Tech
The latest Triumph Daytona 660 has begun hitting Indian dealerships. Originally scheduled for April-May, its release was delayed, but now expected by late June or early July. Several Triumph outlets have already started accepting informal reservations for the highly anticipated motorcycle.
The highly anticipated Daytona 660 is set to mirror the features and specs of its international counterpart. The motorcycle will boast a cutting-edge digital display like the Trident 660, along with Bluetooth connectivity, three distinct riding modes (Sport, Road, and Rain), traction control, and an Emergency Deceleration Warning system.

New Triumph Daytona 660: Features
The Daytona 660 will be equipped with Showa upside-down front forks, a Showa rear monoshock, dual 310mm front discs with a four-piston radial calliper, and a single 220mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper. The India-spec version, as seen in a video, will feature Michelin Power 6 tyres.
The Daytona 660 utilizes the identical 660cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as seen in the Trident 660 and Tiger 660 models. Nevertheless, this engine boasts a 17% increase in power and a 9% rise in torque, producing 95PS at 11,250rpm and 69Nm of torque at 8,250rpm. Additionally, more than 80% of the torque is accessible from just 3,125rpm.

New Triumph Daytona 660: Engine Specifications
The motorcycle is equipped with a six-speed gearbox that includes an assist clutch. An optional bi-directional quickshifter can be added. It also comes with a new exhaust system featuring a 3-in-1 header and a compact underslung silencer made of stainless steel, which is designed to produce a unique exhaust sound while preserving Triumph's characteristic inline triple engine noise.
The Trident 660 is priced at Rs 8.25 lakh and the Tiger Sport 660 at Rs 9.47 lakh (both ex-showroom). The pricing for the upcoming Daytona 660 is estimated to be priced at Rs. 9 lakh.
