Triumph Anniversary Offer Extended: Big Savings On Speed 400 & Scrambler 400X

Triumph Motorcycles has extended its Anniversary Celebration Offer until 31st August 2024. This extension follows the brand's significant milestones in the Indian market, including expanding its dealer network to 100 showrooms and exporting Triumph 400 motorcycles to 50 countries. The offer reduces the price of Speed 400 to Rs 2.24 lakh and Scrambler 400X to Rs 2.54 lakh (Ex-showroom).

Milestones and Market Impact

The British motorcycle manufacturer entered the affordable single-cylinder segment in July 2023 through a partnership with Bajaj Auto. The Speed 400 was launched at Rs 2.23 lakh, followed by the Scrambler 400X in October 2024 at Rs 2.63 lakh (Ex-showroom). Within a year, Triumph achieved global sales of over 50,000 units for its Triumph 400 bikes.

The competitive landscape in the 350cc to 500cc segment has intensified recently. Bajaj, along with its partners like KTM, Husqvarna, and Triumph, leads this space. Royal Enfield's Himalayan 450 tops the sales charts, followed by Bajaj's Pulsar NS400Z and Triumph's Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X.

Competitive Pricing Strategy

Royal Enfield recently introduced the Guerrilla 450 at a starting price of Rs 2.39 lakh (Ex-showroom). With Triumph extending its Anniversary Celebration Offer, buyers can now enjoy reduced prices that undercut the Guerrilla 450's pricing. This move aims to maintain Triumph's value-for-money proposition in a highly competitive market.

Mr Sumeet Narang, President Pro-Biking at Bajaj Auto Ltd., commented on this development: "It has been a round of serial celebrations for us as we mark the first anniversary of the Bajaj Auto & Triumph Motorcycles collaboration. We crossed sales of 50,000 Triumph 400s across 50 countries."

Customer Response & Future Prospects

"We also expanded to over 100 best-in-class showrooms in 75 cities, bringing the Triumph experience to more riders in India," Mr Narang added. He highlighted that due to overwhelming bookings and retails, they decided to extend the anniversary offer till the end of August.

The response to Triumph's Modern Classics has been exceptional, reflecting their commitment to customer service and community engagement programs. These initiatives ensure an immersive ownership journey for Triumph riders in the country.

This strategic extension is expected to keep Royal Enfield's pricing strategies in check while reinforcing Triumph's position as a value-for-money brand in India's motorcycle market.
