Yamaha India has recently unveiled the latest iteration of the RayZR Street Rally scooter, now available for Rs 98,130. This new model comes with several enhancements and a fresh look but retains its original mechanical configuration.
Updates
Among the notable updates is the introduction of an LED daytime running light strategically placed above the number plate holder, enhancing visibility and safety. Furthermore, the scooter has been equipped with a novel 'Answer Back' functionality. Another fresh feature of the RayZR 125 Fi is its new Cyber Green paint option, adding to its visual appeal.
Powertrain
The RayZR Street Rally scooter's engine and performance specifications remain unchanged. It continues to be propelled by an air-cooled, 125cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.2hp at 6,500rpm and 10.3Nm of torque at 5,000rpm, accompanied by hybrid power assist.
Suspension & Brakes
The suspension system comprises a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear, while braking is managed by a front disc and a rear drum, complemented by UBS.
Competition
The pricing of this updated version is approximately Rs 2,000 higher than its predecessor, marking a slight increase for the added features. The RayZR Street Rally competes in the Indian market with other 125cc scooters like the TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Dio 125, and Suzuki Avenis 125, offering a competitive option for those in search of a mix of style, functionality, and performance in the scooter segment.
