Classic Legends has recently launched the new Jawa 42 FJ motorcycle in India. This new motorcycle from Classic Legends is positioned under the automaker's 'Neo Classic' range, and here are the top 5 things you need to know about the new Jawa 42 FJ.
Jawa 42 FJ Design
The Jawa 42 FJ shares a similar silhouette with the Yezdi Roadster. It features a brushed aluminum finish on the tank cladding and a new LED headlamp. The instrument cluster and switchgear are borrowed from Yezdi, and it offers both spoked and alloy wheel options. The alloy wheels are identical to those on the Jawa Bobber.

Jawa 42 FJ Price
The newly launched Jawa 42 FJ motorcycle is priced Rs 26,000 higher than the base Jawa 42. The pricing for different variants of the Jawa 42 FJ starts at Rs 1.99 lakh for Aurora Green Matte Spoke, Rs 2.10 lakh for Aurora Green Matte Alloy, Rs 2.15 lakh for Mystique Copper and Cosmo Blue Matte, and Rs 2.20 lakh for Deep Black Matte Red Clad and Deep Black Matte Black Clad.
Jawa 42 FJ Engine
The Jawa 42 FJ is equipped with a larger 334cc engine derived from the new Jawa 350. This engine produces 29.1hp and 29.6Nm of torque. In comparison, the Jawa 350's engine output stands at 22.57hp and 28.1Nm.
Jawa 42 FJ Specifications
The Jawa 42 FJ has a seat height of 800mm, ground clearance of 178mm, and weighs 194kg, which is slightly heavier than the regular Jawa 42. Also, the model comes equipped with 41mm telescopic suspension at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Also, the bike comes standard with dual-channel ABS.

The Jawa 42 FJ competes with models like Royal Enfield Classic/Bullet 350, Honda CB350, and Hero Mavrick 440 in its segment. Moreover, this new model aims to offer enhanced performance while maintaining the classic styling elements that fans of the brand appreciate.
