The new Shotgun 650 was first unveiled at Motoverse 2023 in Goa last month as a limited-run (25 units) custom bike for customers who attended the event. While that was a custom bike for a limited number of people the new 2024 Shotgun 650 is for the masses.

While heavily based on the Super Meteor platform but features a design that Royal Enfiled claims is inspired by the custom bike scene. The unique Bobber look is more evident when you take the time to examine the new Shotgun 650. The bike sports a round headlight atop which sits the instrumentation, slightly offset to the sides.

The tapering 13.8-litre fuel tank flows into the single seat of the Shotgun 650 which sits just 795mm above the ground. The chopped rear fender and peashooter exhausts add to the style quotient of the Shotgun as do those snazzy alloys. The Shotgun 650 sports an 18-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear.

The brakes keep the 240-kilo beast at bay when you need to stop after a fair cruise with the 648cc inline twin-cylinder engine, which features a blacked-out casing on the Shotgun 650. The engine pushes out 46.4bhp at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm at 5,650rpm and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is for fans of the 650 Twins platform who were looking for something a bit different in styling from the rest of the crowd. With prices sitting between the Interceptor and Super Meteor, we expect the Shotgun 650 to sell like mad now that it is available for the masses.
