Royal Enfield Scram 440 Vs Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Specs Comparison
The Royal Enfield Scram 440 will be the second Scrambler-style motorcycle in the company's outgoing product portfolio after the Guerrilla 450. As such, here is a specification comparison between the new Royal Enfield Scram 440 and Guerrilla 450 motorcycles.
Powertrain
The newly launched Royal Enfield Scram 440 uses a 443cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with 25.4bhp at 6,250rpm and 34Nm at 4,000rpm. In comparison, the Guerrilla 450 is powered by a 450cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.

While the older Royal Enfield Scram 411 used a 5-speed gearbox, the new Royal Enfield Scram 440 uses a 6-speed gearbox like the Guerrilla 450. However, we expect the gear ratios of both these motorcycles to be slightly different to suit their powertrain characteristics.
Suspension
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 features conventional 43mm telescopic forks at the front with 140mm of wheel travel, and a pre-load adjustable monoshock at the rear with 150mm of wheel travel.
In comparison, the new Royal Enfield Scram 440 comes with 41mm telescopic forks with 190mm of wheel travel at the front and mono shock set up at the rear with 180mm of wheel travel.
Brakes
In terms of braking hardware, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 uses a 310mm disc brake at the front and a smaller 270mm disc at the rear. On the other hand, the Scram 440 sports a slightly smaller 300mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear. Also , both bikes feature dual-channel ABS.
Kerb Weight & Tyres
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 weighs 185kg and features 120/70 R17 tyres at the front and 160/60 R17 tyres at the rear. Surprisingly, the Scram 440 weighs at 196kg and uses 100/90 R19 tyres at the front and 120/90 R17 tyres at the rear.
Price
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is available in 3 variants and prices for the model starts at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Royal Enfield Scram 440 is expected to be available in 2 variants, and prices are likely to start at Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
