Royal Enfield Sees Dip In Sales But Excites With Guerrilla 450 Launch
In June 2024, Royal Enfield reported sales of 73,141 motorcycles, a decrease from the 77,109 units sold in the same month of the previous financial year. The company also exported 7,024 motorcycles during this period, compared to 9,614 in June 2023.
B Govindarajan, CEO of Royal Enfield, commented on the performance and future plans: "We remain steadfast on our long term plans and are making considerable progress towards the same. This year will be an exciting one for Royal Enfield, as we have several new launches planned that will significantly strengthen our product portfolio."

Royal Enfield's Green Pit Stop and Motoverse 2024
Royal Enfield recently unveiled Camp Kharu, its first Green Pit Stop in Ladakh. The initiative aims to promote sustainable travel and support local communities. Situated in Kharu on the Leh-Manali highway, Camp Kharu is managed by six local women trained in entrepreneurship and hospitality.
The camp features a café serving Ladakhi dishes, exhibition spaces, and public facilities. Built using sustainable rammed earth architecture, Camp Kharu emphasizes environmental sustainability and cultural exchange.
On World Motorcycle Day and World Music Day, Royal Enfield opened early bird registrations for Motoverse 2024. Alongside this announcement was the 'Ride to Motoverse' experience, which allows groups of riders to journey together to the event in Vagator, Goa from November 22-24.
Now in its fourteenth edition, Motoverse celebrates motorcycling culture, music, art, and camaraderie over three days. This year's event promises an even bigger homecoming with diverse live music performances, art exhibits, and talks by industry legends.
Royal Enfield remains committed to its long-term plans despite a decline in sales compared to last year. With new launches like the Guerrilla 450 roadster and initiatives such as Camp Kharu and Motoverse 2024 on the horizon, the company aims to strengthen its product portfolio while promoting sustainability and fostering community engagement within the motorcycling world.
