Royal Enfield To Launch Budget-Friendly Classic 650 Twin In India: Name Trademarked
Royal Enfield is set to expand its 650 cc motorcycle range in India, with the latest addition being the Classic 650 Twin. This model is poised to be the most budget-friendly option within the company's 650 cc lineup.
It shares the same 648cc, parallel-twin engine as its siblings, delivering 47bhp and 52Nm of peak torque. The anticipation around the upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin's launch is growing, especially as the model name gets trademarked.
Royal Enfield's Expanding 650cc Range
The Classic 650 Twin follows the recent unveiling of the Shotgun 650, Royal Enfield's fourth motorcycle in its 650 cc category. With two more launches on the horizon, Royal Enfield is aggressively targeting the mid-capacity motorcycle segment.
The Classic 650, leveraging the Shotgun 650's platform, will undergo several adjustments to ensure affordability. This includes the use of telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Despite these changes, it retains the iconic Royal Enfield styling, closely resembling the Classic 350 but with larger dimensions.

Spy shots of the Classic 650 have revealed a design that enthusiasts will find familiar yet refreshing. The motorcycle is equipped with an LED headlamp, complemented by a small cowl and halogen pilot lamps. Standard halogen turn indicators and chrome-finished exhausts add to its aesthetic appeal.
Unlike the black powder-coated casing seen in previous models, the Classic 650 will feature chrome casings. The spoked wheels and tube-type tyres hint at a classic design, with alloy wheels expected to be available for higher variants or as an official accessory.
