Revolt RV1 Electric Bike: Top 5 Things To Know
Revolt Motors has introduced the RV1, an electric bike positioned as an entry-level commuter option. Priced at Rs 84,990 for the standard model and Rs 99,990 for the RV1+, it sits below the RV400 in their lineup. This makes it a more affordable choice with simpler features compared to its predecessor.
Electric Motor & Drive
The RV1 is equipped with a mid-mounted 2.8kW motor that powers the rear wheel through a chain drive system. Chains are typically noisier and require more maintenance than belts, suggesting cost considerations influenced this design choice. The bike also includes reverse mode and 240mm disc brakes on both ends, featuring CBS for added safety.

Battery Options & Range
The RV1 offers two battery options: a 2.2kWh battery with a claimed range of 100km for the standard model, and a larger 3.24kWh battery providing up to 160km for the RV1+. Both variants come with built-in chargers.
Charging
The RV1 can charge from 0-80% in about 2 hours and 15 minutes, while the RV1+ takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. Revolt claims that fast charging can fully charge the RV1+ in just 1.5 hours.

Features and Equipment
The bike comes with an LED headlight and tail-lamp, along with a fully digital 6-inch LCD dashboard. These features add modern touches to the otherwise basic equipment level of the RV1 compared to the more advanced RV400 model.
Bookings & Deliveries
Bookings for the new RV1 are now open at a nominal fee of Rs 499. Deliveries are expected to commence in ten days from now, allowing customers to soon experience this new addition to Revolt's electric motorcycle range.
