New Hero Destini 125 Unveiled: Modern Design Meets Cutting-Edge Features
Hero MotoCorp, a prominent name in the Indian motorcycle industry, has introduced the revamped Hero Destini 125. This new model aims to compete with popular 125cc scooters like Honda Activa 125, Yamaha Fascino, TVS Jupiter 125, and Suzuki Access 125. The redesigned scooter features a neo-retro design to appeal to a broader audience.
The new Hero Destini 125 showcases a fresh silhouette with updated headlights. It includes LED projector headlights, which are claimed to be three times brighter than previous models. An H-shaped LED DRL setup is also part of the design, maintaining the family tradition. The front apron features a larger H-shaped insignia with chrome accents, while the rear LED tail light also carries an H insignia.

New Design and Features
Chrome accents are prevalent throughout the scooter, adding to its premium look. Depending on the colour choice, these accents may have a bronze finish. The new Destini 125 is available in five colours: Eternal White, Regal Black, Majestique Magenta, Cosmic Blue, and Groovy Red. The seat is dual-tone and includes a pillion backrest, which is becoming more common in this segment.
The scooter comes in three variants: VX, ZX, and ZX+. The base variant VX has fewer features compared to ZX and ZX+, which are closely matched in terms of equipment. Notable features include a long seat, larger 12-inch alloy wheels with a dual-tone finish, and self-canceling indicators.

Variants and Specifications
The braking system now includes a disc brake at the front paired with ByBre callipers while retaining a drum unit at the rear. The front suspension consists of RSU telescopic forks, and there is a single-sided shock absorber at the rear. The scooter rides on a 90-section tyre up front and a 100-section tyre at the rear. Additional conveniences include an LED boot light and a USB charging port.
A fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity is another highlight of the new Destini 125. This feature provides notification alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. Powering this scooter is a 124.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivers 9 bhp at 7,000 RPM and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5,500 RPM. This engine is coupled with a CVT unit and a dry centrifugal clutch.

Enhanced Performance
The new Hero Destini 125 aims to offer enhanced performance with its updated engine specifications and advanced features. With its competitive pricing yet to be announced, it remains to be seen how it will fare against its rivals in the market.
Hero MotoCorp's latest offering in the scooter segment reflects their commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. By incorporating modern design elements and practical features, they aim to capture a significant share of the growing 125cc scooter market in India.
