Quantum Energy Sells Over 10,000 EVs In 2 Years, Marks Rapid Growth
Quantum Energy, an electric vehicle (EV) startup, has reached a significant milestone by selling over 10,000 vehicles within two years of its market entry. Launched in October 2022, the company has rapidly climbed from the 57th position to become one of the top 10 EV two-wheeler brands in India.
This growth highlights Quantum Energy's dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction. The company now operates in 11 states and 2 union territories with a network of 108 touchpoints.
Expanding Product Range
Quantum Energy offers a variety of electric two-wheelers that have quickly gained popularity among consumers. The Plasma model features a 2000W peak motor, achieving a top speed of 65 km/h and a range of up to 120 km per charge.
The Plasma XR also has a 2000W peak motor but offers a top speed of 60 km/h and a range of up to 100 km per charge, balancing performance and affordability. The Milan model, powered by a 1000W motor, reaches speeds of up to 60 km/h and covers up to 100 km on a single charge.
Designed for commercial use, the Bziness model is driven by a 1200W motor, reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h and offering a range of up to 110 km per charge.

The company's rapid expansion has been bolstered by strategic partnerships with leading battery technology firms such as Log9, Sun Mobility, and Battery Smart. These collaborations have enabled Quantum Energy to provide advanced solutions for last-mile connectivity and ride-hailing services. Recognising its achievements, Outlook India Magazine named Quantum Energy one of the top 10 EV startups of 2023.

The company operates a state-of-the-art production facility in Patancheru near Hyderabad with an annual capacity of producing 50,000 vehicles. To meet increasing demand, Quantum Energy is developing a new greenfield facility in Maheshwaram that will expand its production capacity to 250,000 vehicles per year.
