Ola Electric's Network Partner Program Aims To Enhance EV Adoption Across India By Onboarding 1,000 Partners

Ola Electric, the top electric vehicle (EV) company in India, is broadening its reach by inaugurating its 'Network Partner Program’. This initiative is set to propel the EV movement deeper into less penetrated areas, particularly tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

The company has already welcomed 625 partners under this program to widen its sales presence throughout India. In a strategic move to extend its network, Ola Electric aims to onboard a total of 1,000 partners by the festive season this year. Moreover, it has ambitious plans to aggressively boost its network by adding 10,000 partners, covering both sales and service, by the end of 2025.

Ola Electric Expands EV Network Partner Program

Expanding National Footprint

In an effort to outpace its competitors, Ola Electric's 'Network Partner Program’ is designed to be low on investment for partners, making it quicker to scale than traditional automotive dealership models. The company, which currently operates nearly 800 stores owned by the company, anticipates nearly 1,800 sales and service touchpoints before the festive season kicks off, thanks to this program. This strategic expansion is set to enhance Ola Electric's presence across the country, ensuring a wider adoption of EVs.

Revolutionizing EV Adoption

The introduction of the 'Network Partner Program’ is a cornerstone of Ola Electric's strategy to deepen its market penetration. "Our D2C model has been extremely successful in driving sustainable business growth. The Network Partner Program will further amplify the benefits of our D2C network as it requires limited capital investment from partners and can be scaled up really fast", said Bhavish Aggarwal.

"While the company-owned stores will be the anchors of our sales and service network, this program will be instrumental in expanding the EV footprint deeper into the urban and rural markets. We will continue to expand and invest in our front-end network to accelerate EV adoption to #EndICEAge, and by the end of next year, will have 10,000 Network Partners across the country," announced Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and MD, Ola Electric.

The company also plans to use this program for the sales and service of its upcoming Roadster motorcycle series, aiming to deepen EV penetration in the motorcycle segment across India. The Roadster series, comprising several models with unique technology and performance features, is expected to further fuel the adoption of EVs. The series includes the Roadster X, Roadster, and Roadster Pro, with prices beginning at INR 74,999, INR 1,04,999, and INR 1,99,999, respectively.

Ola Electric's S1 portfolio boasts six models across various price points to cater to different customer needs. The premium S1 Pro and S1 Air are tagged at ₹1,34,999 and ₹1,07,499, respectively, while the mass market versions include the S1 X+ at ₹89,999 and the S1 X range (2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh) available at ₹74,999, ₹87,999, and ₹101,999, respectively.

Ola Electric's ambitious expansion through the 'Network Partner Program’ signifies a significant step towards accelerating EV adoption in India. By engaging with partners and expanding its sales and service network, the company is set to bring electric mobility to more customers nationwide, especially in areas where EVs have yet to make a significant impact.
