Ola Electric MoveOS 5 Announced In India: AI Assistance, Added Features & More
On the 78th Independence Day of India, Ola Electric, launched the Ola Roadster range of motorcycles in India with an aggressive starting price of Rs 74,999 (ex-showroom). Along with this, Ola Electric also announced the much-awaited MoveOS5.
The current version, MoveOS 4, has been well-received. The new software promises several enhanced features and performance improvements.

MoveOS 5 introduces group navigation, live location sharing, and Ola Maps' Road Trip Mode. These features aim to enhance user experience significantly. Additionally, the update includes smart charging capabilities and a Smart Park feature.
The software also brings a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), commonly found in premium cars. Another notable addition is Krutrim AI assistance, which will handle tasks like surveillance and voice assistance.
During the event celebrating India's 78th Independence Day, Ola Electric also showcased some of its upcoming e-bike models. This includes the Bharat 4680 Cell, which is manufactured domestically.
Ola Electric plans to roll out MoveOS 5 as an over-the-air (OTA) update. The beta version is expected to be available before or during Diwali. This update aims to bring quality software enhancements to users soon.
The company has designed the Roadster model to be affordable for underprivileged people in India. However, deliveries are scheduled to start only at the end of the 2025 fiscal year.
Ola Electric's recent announcements reflect its commitment to innovation and accessibility in the electric vehicle market. The new products and software updates aim to provide enhanced features and improved performance for users.
