Ola Electric Shatters Records: Seizes 40% Indian EV Market Share
Ola Electric has made a significant mark in the Indian EV market with its latest performance statistics. In December alone, the company witnessed a record-breaking 30,219 registrations, capturing an impressive 40% of the market share in the electric two-wheeler (EV 2W) segment.
This feat, as reported by the VAHAN Portal, underscores Ola Electric's dominance in the rapidly growing electric mobility space. The company has not only achieved its highest monthly registrations to date but has also exhibited an extraordinary year-over-year growth of 74% compared to December of the previous year.

Quarterly Growth and Production Milestones
In the quarter ending December, Ola Electric's growth trajectory continued with a staggering 83,963 registrations. This represents a quarter-over-quarter increase of 48% and a year-over-year surge of 68%, showcasing the brand's consistently upward momentum.
Additionally, the company has reached an unprecedented production milestone, assembling over 400,000 scooters within a mere two-year span, positioning it as a leader in the industry. Moreover, Ola Electric has set a record as the first EV 2W manufacturer to surpass 2.65 lakh registrations in a single calendar year, according to the VAHAN Portal.

Expanding Scooter Portfolio
Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer at Ola Electric Technologies Private Limited, attributes the company’s sustained market leadership to its robust product lineup, which includes the S1 Pro, S1 Air, and the S1 X+.
Their 'December to Remember' campaign has proved to be a huge success, bringing an influx of consumers into the EV sphere. The company's scooter portfolio has recently expanded to five models, catering to a wide array of customer needs and preferences. The second-generation S1 Pro, Ola Electric's premium flagship scooter, is available at INR 1,47,499, whereas the S1 Air is offered at an economical INR 1,19,999.

The S1 X+ variant, introduced at an introductory price of INR 89,999 after a flat INR 20,000 discount, further strengthens the company's hold on the market. The S1 X also comes in two battery options, 3kWh and 2kWh, and customers can reserve these models for just INR 999.
The S1 X (3kWh) and S1 X (2kWh) are set to be available at introductory prices of INR 99,999 and INR 89,999, respectively, making electric mobility more accessible than ever.
