Ola Electric Records 107% YoY Growth In EV 2W Registrations For June 2024
In June 2024, Ola Electric reported a 107% year-on-year increase in EV 2W registrations, maintaining its leadership with a 46% market share. The company also hit over 2 lakh registrations, leading the EV 2W sector in India.
Ola Electric continues to dominate the Indian electric two-wheeler (EV 2W) market, achieving a 107% year-on-year growth in registrations for June 2024 compared to the same month last year. This translates to a massive 36,716 electric scooters registered, solidifying Ola's position as the leader with a commanding 46% market share.
Ola Electric also registered impressive growth in Q1 FY25, clocking a 57% increase over the previous year's corresponding quarter. By the end of June 2024, they've surpassed a staggering 1.08 lakh registrations, a testament to the growing demand for their electric scooters.
This growth has propelled Ola Electric to achieve another milestone - becoming the first EV 2W company to surpass 2 lakh registrations within the first half of a calendar year. With over 2.28 lakh registrations already under their belt in 2024, Ola Electric is definitely one of the preferred brands.
