Ola Electric Bike Teased: Interesting Details Decoded, Launch On August 15?
Ahead of the upcoming festive season, Ola Electric seems to be well-prepared for the launch of its first electric bike in India. In fact, the CEO of Ola Electric, Bhavish Aggarwal recently shared a short video of the upcoming electric bike.
According to earlier reports, Ola Electric is expected to launch the Ola electric bike on August 15. However, the bookings and deliveries of this upcoming electric bike could commence slightly later.

Though the short video shared by the Ola Electric CEO barely reveals any design details of the electric bike, the DriveSpark team have noted a few key points for its viewers.
For starters, Ola Electric's upcoming electric bike seems to be a naked motorcycle predominantly designed for city commutes. Other details include slightly mid-set footpegs and a wide handlebar.
With these traits we expect the riding posture on the upcoming Ola Electric bike to be on the sportier side without compromising any practicality. In fact, the riding posture does seem to have a lot of similarities to the Yamaha FZ range of motorcycles.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Ola electric bike will come equipped with a telescopic front suspension and a mono-shock at the rear. Additional details include a digital instrument cluster and all-LED lighting.
Interestingly, the teaser video also shows that the upcoming Ola electric bike does not sport excessively fat tyres at both ends. We expect this particular trait to improve the range of the Ola electric bike.
Though Ola Electric is yet to reveal any specifications regarding its upcoming electric bike, we expect the model to sport a 4kWh to 6kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 180km to 280km.

Also, in terms of performance, we expect the upcoming Ola electric bike to rival the likes of 150cc and 160cc motorcycles in the country. Also, we expect the model to have a top speed of approximately 130km/h.
Given Ola Electric's aggressive pricing strategy, we expect Ola Electric to price its first electric bike just under the Rs 2 lakh mark. On top of that, we also expect special offers from Ola Financial Services as well.
