Oben Electric, a leading Indian electric vehicle manufacturer, is set to launch four new electric two-wheelers within the next six months. Prices will range from INR 60,000 to INR 1,50,000. To support its growth plans, Oben Electric will open over 60 new showrooms in more than 12 major cities by year-end. This expansion aims to enhance access to after-sales support and service centres. The move aligns with the Make in India initiative and ensures a seamless ownership experience for customers nationwide.
The upcoming two-wheelers from Oben Electric will feature advanced LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology. Known for its heat resistance, durability, and extended lifespan, this technology is well-suited for India's challenging climate conditions. These new models promise reliability and performance comparable to internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.
Targeting Untapped Markets
With the electric vehicle market poised for rapid growth, Oben Electric aims to capture a significant share of the two-wheeler sector. The company targets an untapped 70% of the motorcycle market by offering innovative solutions that meet rising demands for sustainable transport options.
