Honda Reveals Scrambler Variant In Latest 350cc Motorcycle Design Patent

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) is steering towards the launch of bigger motorcycles in the market, focusing on its 350cc engine platform. The company recently unveiled design patents for a new model, sparking interest among motorcycle enthusiasts.

This move comes after Honda's disclosure of an adventure bike design, aimed at competing with the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The latest design patents reveal a motorcycle that appears to be an evolution of the Hness CB350 platform, hinting at a Scrambler variant or an updated Honda CB350RS.

New Design Directions

The new motorcycle design showcases a fuel tank inspired by the adventure bike segment, featuring a distinctive metal bracket at its base.

The design integrates the rider's seat with the tank, mimicking the adventure bike's style, while the side and tail sections bear a resemblance to the CB350RS. This suggests significant changes, pointing towards the introduction of a completely new product rather than a mere variant of the existing CB350.

Engine and Performance

Expected to inherit the engine from the CB350 and CB350RS, the upcoming bike will likely boast a 348.36 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine.
