Hero has unveiled teaser images of its revamped Destini 125 scooter, confirming its readiness for a new level of performance. The updated model is set to debut in India on very soon. This launch is expected to heighten competition among popular scooters like the Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Access, and Yamaha Ray ZR.

Recently, TVS introduced an updated version of its Jupiter 110 scooter. Following this trend, Hero has made significant updates to the Destini 125. The most prominent change is the redesigned headlamp, which now features an LED lamp and an H-shaped daytime running light, a signature of the Hero brand.

The rear of the scooter also sports an H-shaped stop lamp. The body panels have been significantly altered, as seen in the teaser images. Additionally, the scooter now has a shorter exhaust. Reports indicate that several new technological features will be incorporated into the vehicle.

The updated Destini 125 will include a digital display with Bluetooth connectivity. Other expected features are a USB charger, a backrest for the rear passenger, and a larger storage compartment. However, there will be no major changes to the engine, suspension setup, or braking system.

The scooter will continue to be powered by the same 124.6 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. This engine, paired with a CVT gearbox, delivers a maximum power output of 9 bhp and a peak torque of 10.4 Nm. The braking system will feature a disc-drum setup, while the suspension will include a telescopic fork and monoshock.

Hero's decision to update the Destini 125 comes at a time when the 125 cc segment is in high demand in India. Initially launched to cater to this market segment, the Destini 125 has been a significant part of Hero's product lineup.
