2024 Suzuki Avenis Scooter Launched In India At Rs 92,000: New Shades & More
Suzuki Motorcycle India launched the new 2024 Suzuki Avenis scooter in the country. Prices for this updated model starts at Rs 92,000 (ex-showroom) for the Standard model and Rs 92,800 for the Race Edition.
With the update, Suzuki Motorcycle India has also refreshed colour options for the Avenis with shades such as Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Mira Red, Champion Yellow No 2 / Glossy Sparkle Black, Glossy Sparkle Black & Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White.
The introduction of the updated colour schemes for the 2024 Suzuki Avenis indicates that the model is designed to attract Gen Z and young riders with their vibrant hues and edgy decals. Compared to its predecessor, the 2024 Suzuki Avenis boasts a slightly sportier design as well.
That being said, the Suzuki Avenis' strength continues to remain unchanged with its external fuel filler, a spacious 21.8L under-seat storage area, roomy floorboard, tall handlebars, and stepped seats. Furthermore, features such as LED headlamps, tail lamps and motorcycle-inspired rear indicators enhance its sporty appearance.
Features-wise, the 2024 Suzuki Avenis gets a Bluetooth-enabled digital console, a front box with a USB socket, a side stand engine cut-off switch, an engine kill switch, and alloy wheels (12-inch front and 10-inch rear).
Also, thanks to the Suzuki Ride Connect app, users can sync their mobile phones to access features like turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call alerts, SMS alerts, WhatsApp message alerts, missed call notifications, unread SMS alerts, speed warnings, phone battery level display, and estimated time of arrival.
Under the skin, the 2024 Suzuki Avenis continues to be powered by the same 124 cc single-cylinder engine with 8.5hp at 6,750 rpm and 10Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Also, many of the mechanical parts such as suspension, frame, wheels, and brakes are shared with the Access 125 model.
That being said, the 2024 Suzuki Avenis is positioned below Burgman Street and it competes with the likes of Aprilia Storm 125, TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Dio 125, Yamaha RayZR 125 and upcoming Hero Xoom 125R.
