125cc Motorcycle Segment Witnesses Growth In April 2024: Model-Wise Sales Figures
The 125cc segment in India has been one of the most popular categories offering fuel-efficient, nimble, comfortable and reliable motorcycles great for urban commuters and new riders. With April 2024 receiving a 27.57% YoY growth, motorcycles like the Shine, Raider and Glamour gain impressive popularity. Let us have a look at the sales breakdown of the 125cc segment in April 2024.
Honda CB Shine (1,21,338 units)
Topping the charts, we have the Honda CB Shine, which sold 1,21,338 units in April 2024, which is a 35.94% YoY growth when compared to the 89,261 units sold in April the previous year. Being first out of the bunch, the Shine holds the larger share with 38.60% of the list.

Bajaj Pulsar (87,880 units)
Second on the list, we have Bajaj with 87,880 sold Pulsar’s in April 2024 which is a growth of 11.52% in sales, compared to the 78,799 units sold in April 2023. The Bajaj Pulsar hold 27.95% of our list.
TVS Raider 125 (51,098 units)
Taking home third, The TVS Raider 125 has experienced a growth of 62.26% in its year-by-year sales when compared to the 31,491 bikes sold in April 2023, having sold 51,098 units in April 2024 which is 16.25% of the list.
Hero Splendor (22,595 units)
The Hero Splendor is fourth on our list, having sold 22,595 units in April 2024, which is a decrease in sales of -34.85% when compared to the 34,681 units sold in April 2023. This has left the Hero Splendor with 7.19% of the April sales list.
Hero Glamour (18,747 units)
In the number five spot, we have the Hero Glamour, which holds 5.96% of the list with a 55.68% growth from April the previous year which sold 12,042 units, having sold 18,747 units in April 2024.
Hero Xtreme 125R (12,532 units)
The Hero Xtreme 125R is a stylish newcomer on the list holds the Sixth spot, and has only been on sale from early this year. Hero sold 12,532 units of the sold in April 2024 and holds 3.99% of the list.
KTM 125 (195 units)
And last but not least, We have KTM, with its 125, having sold 195 units in April 2024 which is a 19.63% increase in YoY sales when compared to the 163 units sold in April 2023. The KTM 125 contributed to 0.6% of the list.
