A man from Mumbai recently shared a heartwarming video on Instagram, showing him taking his elderly mother on a 380 km road trip on his new Harley Davidson X440 motorcycle. The video starts with the man and his mother wearing complete safety gear, including riding jackets, pads, shoes, and gloves.
They then perform a Hindu ritual of lighting incense sticks and praying before starting their journey.The video shows them leaving Mumbai at 5:30 AM and riding through mountain roads, tunnels, and scenic routes.
They make a stop at Ploadpur at 10:30 AM for breakfast, where they enjoy the popular snack "Vada pav." Throughout the ride, the man records the journey using a GoPro mounted on his helmet.
Despite encountering harsh rain along the way, both the man and his mother are prepared with raincoats to protect themselves.They take breaks along the road, with the mother even plucking some grass as a recreational activity.
Finally, they reach their home in Konkan at around 4:15 PM, safe and sound. The video received positive reactions from netizens, with many commenting on how heartwarming it is to see parents and children bonding through long road trips.
However, there were also some who expressed concern about the stress it may have caused the mother. The video creator clarified that the plan was made by both him and his mother, and she thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The Harley Davidson X440 motorcycle used in the video is priced at Rs 2.4 lakh. It is equipped with a 440cc air or oil-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 27 bhp and a peak torque of 38 Nm. The bike comes with a six-speed gearbox.
