Bajaj Auto, a distinguished name in the Indian automobile industry, has recently unveiled an exciting update for electric scooter enthusiasts. The 2024 Bajaj Chetak, now launched at an ex-showroom price of ₹1.35 lakh, is set to electrify the market.

This smart scooter has been introduced in two distinct variants, namely Urbane and Premium. The Urbane is available at ₹1,15,001 while the Premium is tagged at a slightly higher price of ₹1,35,463. Both variants promise to deliver a remarkable range of up to 127km.

The 2024 iteration of Bajaj Chetak marks a significant milestone, having sold over 1 lakh units across more than 140 cities in India. This electric scooter has become a staple for those seeking a reliable and eco-friendly mode of transportation.

With the latest upgrades, Bajaj Auto aims to solidify Chetak's position as a frontrunner in the electric two-wheeler segment. Adding to its consumer-friendly offerings, Bajaj has introduced the TecPac, an online purchasable package that brings a suite of technological enhancements to the Urbane variant.

TecPac: A Technological Leap

The TecPac is a leap forward in convenience and connectivity for the Chetak Urbane model. It not only introduces turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, and call alerts but also augments the riding experience with new display themes.

Enhancements such as Hill Hold and Reverse Mode, alongside a Sports mode, elevate the scooter's functionality. Moreover, the Urbane variant now reaches a higher top speed of 73 kmph, compared to the standard model's 63 kmph. A new colour TFT screen also enhances the dashboard's visual appeal.

Charging Up and Range

The Urbane variant promises a range of 113 km and comes with a 650 W off-board charger that replenishes the battery in just under five hours. On the other hand, the Chetak Premium offers a slightly lesser range of 108 km, but with a top speed of 63 kmph.

This premium version includes an 800 W on-board charger, ensuring a full charge in less than four hours. Additionally, application connectivity is available with a subscription purchase, adding a layer of digital integration to the riding experience.
