Enhanced Post-Sales Service For KTM And Husqvarna Owners In India With 5-Year Warranty

KTM and Husqvarna bike owners in India have a reason to cheer as the companies announce a significant enhancement to their post-sales offerings. Starting April 1st, 2024, all KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles purchased will come with a new 5-year warranty scheme.

This package is a combination of a 2-year standard warranty covering up to 30,000 km and an additional 3-year extended warranty extending up to 45,000 km. This move is aimed at delivering unparalleled peace of mind to the riders, ensuring they can enjoy their rides without the worry of hefty repair bills.

New Warranty and Roadside Assistance

The upgraded warranty plan is designed to cover a broad spectrum of components and repair costs, including labour fees that are often not included in standard warranty packages. This initiative by KTM is set to substantially mitigate the financial risks associated with maintenance and repairs of high-performance motorcycles like those of KTM and Husqvarna.

Additionally, KTM introduces a 1-year free roadside assistance program for new buyers, providing 24/7 support, safe towing, on-site repair, and flat tyre assistance. This inclusion aims at enhancing the riding experience by offering help whenever and wherever needed, addressing one of the common concerns of bikers related to unexpected breakdowns or tyre issues.

DriveSpark Thinks

KTM is not just stopping at improving the after-sales service but is also focusing on expanding its product lineup in India. The brand currently sells a variety of models ranging from the Duke series to the RC and ADV ranges. With an eye on further expansion, KTM is planning to introduce the 390 Enduro to its Indian portfolio.

This model, expected to launch later this year, was recently spotted during road tests alongside the new 390 Adventure. The 390 Enduro is set to offer superior off-road capabilities with its lightweight structure, larger wheels, and increased ground clearance, making it a formidable competitor to the anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan Raid 450.

This strategic move by KTM and Husqvarna to enhance warranty and roadside assistance packages, coupled with the expansion of their bike range, is a testament to their commitment to improving customer satisfaction and reinforcing their position in the Indian motorcycling landscape.
