KTM Redbull Tech3 MotoGP: Bastianini And Viñales Signed For 2025 Season
KTM has confirmed a fresh rider roster for Red Bull KTM Tech3 from 2025, featuring Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales. This marks a new chapter for KTM's MotoGP factory presence. The team will re-brand and complement the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team.
Bastianini, the 2021 MotoGP Rookie of the Year, and Vinales, former Moto3 world champion, will ride full-factory KTM RC16 machinery in 2025, under a multi-year deal.
The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing squad is shaping up to be a formidable force in the upcoming seasons, with a mix of experience and youth in their rider lineup. With strong talented riders, KTM aims to challenge for top positions in the highly competitive MotoGP field.
Bastianini and Vinales
Bastianini debuted in the world championship a decade ago with a KTM RC4. He became a race winner in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and claimed six victories and over 30 podiums in Moto3 and Moto2.
Bastianini has six wins and 12 podiums in his MotoGP career. He won the 2020 Moto2 World Championship and moved to MotoGP in 2021.
Vinales, already a race winner in 2024, has a distinguished record. He became the first rider in the MotoGP era to win with three manufacturers. Vinales was KTM's second Moto3 World Champion in 2013.
Vinales joined MotoGP in 2015 and has 10 wins and 35 podiums in the premier class. He has four top-three championship finishes in Moto3 and Moto2.

Nicolas Goyon, Tech3 Racing MotoGP Team Manager, said, "We're thrilled to have Enea and Maverick next year as we switch back to KTM. Our first MotoGP wins were in orange, and we're proud these talented riders chose our bikes. This shows our technology can compete for the championship."
