KTM 390 Adventure Teased Ahead Of India Bike Week 2024 Reveal
Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has teased the arrival of the new 390 Adventure in India ahead of its expected reveal at India Bike Week 2024 in December. The new KTM 390 Adventure lineup was revealed at EICMA 2024 earlier this month.
The new 390 Adventure lineup will be revealed at India Bike Week 2024 which will take place on the 6th and 7th of December in Vagator, Goa. The India-spec KTM 390 Adventure is expected to be offered in three guises - R, S and X.
The KTM 390 Adventure R features 21-inch/18-inch (front/rear) spoked wheels and it offers 230mm of suspension travel thanks to adjustable suspension and a tall seat height of 885mm. The 390 Adventure R is expected to be the most expensive version of the KTM ADV when it arrives at India Bike Week.
Next down the lineup are the KTM 390 Adventure S and X. Both are expected to feature non-adjustable suspension with about 200mm of suspension travel and a much lower seat height.

Where the two models will differ is expected to be the wheel setup with the S expected to sport the same spoked wheel setup found on the Adventure R. The Adventure X, on the other hand, is expected to feature 19-inch/17-inch wheels alloy wheels.
All three variants share the 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that kicks out 45bhp and 40Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
KTM is also expected to showcase the 390 Enduro R and the 390 SMC that debuted at EICMA along with the Adventure R. While the KTM 390 Adventure R, S and X are expected to be launched in India, though not at India Bike Week 2024, the 390 Enduro R and 390 SMC are not expected to make their way into India.
Speaking of launches, the new KTM 390 Adventure lineup for India is expected to launch in early 2025; whether this happens at Auto Expo 2025 or a brand-exclusive launch event is still not known.
