Kinetic E-Luna Electric Moped Launched In India At Rs 69,990 – Available In Two Variants & 5 Shades
Kinetic Green managed to revive the 'Luna' nameplate by launching the much-awaited E-Luna electric moped in India at Rs 69,990 (ex-showroom) for the X1 variant. The company also launched the more premium X2 variant, which is priced at Rs 74,990 (ex-showroom).
Kinetic Green already has high expectations for the new model and the production capacity of the newly launched E-Luna electric moped is said to be around 5,000 units per month.
Starting with the design, the newly launched E-Luna looks like an evolved version of the original Luna moped. This design resemblance is expected to strike the right cord with thousands of previous Luna users across India.
However, by taking this design route, there are a few benefits as well. These benefits include reduced weight, rugged build quality, and lower production cost. All these characteristics will greatly benefit the end user.
In terms of colour options, Kinetic Green offers 5 colour options on the newly launched E-Luna electric moped. These shades include Mulberry Red, Ocean Blue, Pearl Yellow, Sparkling Green, and Night Star Black.
That being said, the new E-Luna comes powered by an all-electric powertrain setup, resulting in zero tailpipe emissions and a silent commute. This powertrain set-up consists of a 2kWh battery pack, and a 1.2kW electric motor.
Thanks to this powertrain setup, and lightweight yet rugged build, the newly launched E-Luna can travel up to 110 kilometres on a fully charged battery pack. The top speed of the E-Luna is rated as 50km/h and charging the battery pack takes just 4 hours.
Also, in order to handle rough roads, the new E-Luna comes equipped with 16-inch spoke wheels at both ends. Additionally, the model comes equipped with telescopic front suspension and twin rear shock absorbers.
Highlighting features of the E-Luna electric moped include a digital meter, side stand sensor, USB charging port, saree guard, safety lock. Combi braking system, bag hook, detachable rear seat, and front leg guard.

With the launch of the Kinetic E-Luna electric moped, Kinetic Green aims to make zero tailpipe commute more affordable and more reliable. That being said, given the rugged build quality and simplicity, the new E-Luna will be ideal for last-mile delivery applications and people with small businesses.
