The Kawasaki W230, featuring a 233cc engine from the KLX230, has been launched internationally. This retro motorcycle is priced at $5,599 in the USA, slightly above the Ninja 500. Although this price seems high for an air-cooled bike, it might not reflect its potential cost in India if Kawasaki decides to introduce it there.
The W230's engine shares dimensions with the KLX230, having a bore and stroke of 67x66mm. However, it offers a higher torque of 18.98Nm compared to the KLX's 17.89Nm. The bike's design maintains Kawasaki's classic retro style, reminiscent of the larger W800 model.
Kawasaki W230 Design and Features
The W230 showcases a circular LED headlight, dual analogue gauges with digital displays, and chrome detailing. Its engine cases have a rounded retro look distinct from the KLX230.
