Kawasaki Eliminator 500 Launched In India At Rs 5.62 Lakh
Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has launched the Eliminator cruiser in India. The 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator is priced at Rs 5.62 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and is available in one colour - Metallic Flat Spark Black.
The launch of the new Eliminator comes just a day after Kawasaki launched the 2024 Ninja ZX-6R in India. The new Kawasaki Eliminator 500, despite its big price tag, will duke it out with the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 in the middleweight cruiser category.

Powering the 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator 500 is a new 451cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled parallel twin. This is, in essence, the same engine that powers the Ninja 400, but with a 6.8mm longer stroke.
The new Kawasaki Eliminator's engine pushes out 44.79bhp at 9,000rpm and 42.6Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The Eliminator 500 from Kawasaki sports a trellis frame setup made using high tensile steel which is suspended off 41mm telescopic front forks and twin shocks at the rear.
The new Eliminator rides on an 18-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel. These offset wheels are shod with 130/70 and 150/80 section tyres respectively. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, both clamped down by dual-piston callipers.

The new 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator is 2,250mm long, 785mm wide and 1,100mm tall. The Eliminator's wheelbase is 1,520mm long and the cruiser weighs in at 176 kilos. The seat height is a rather low 735mm.
In terms of its looks, the Kawasaki Eliminator is the Japanese firm's modern take on the original Eliminator cruiser. The long and low design combined with the thin tank and the trellis frame chassis give the Eliminator a rather elegant look. The chunky exhaust on the right just finishes off the low-slung cruiser look and lets the engine vocally vent at the world.

The lighting on the Eliminator is all LED and the bike features a circular LCD screen that can connect to your phone via Kawasaki's Rideology app. The bike also sports an Assist and slipper clutch along with dual-channel ABS.
Thoughts About The Kawasaki Eliminator
The Kawasaki Eliminator is a modern take on a retro cruiser and it brings oodles of power and a good amount of tech that make it very desirable despite its Rs 5.62 lakh price tag.
