Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 Internationally Showcased: Performance Specs And Features Unveiled

Following the release of the Svartpilen 801, Husqvarna has introduced the Vitpilen 801, which not only inherits its foundation from its sibling but also incorporates the engine from the KTM 790 Duke. This move by Husqvarna highlights the brand's strategy to offer diverse motorcycle options by leveraging existing technology and designs.

The Vitpilen 801, like the Svartpilen 801, showcases a unique aesthetic with modifications primarily at the front, featuring a new LED headlamp and redesigned components which contribute to its distinct roadster appearance.

Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 Specifications

The Vitpilen 801 is designed with a more aggressive posture, highlighted by its lower handlebars and a rider triangle that demands more commitment. It sports a 799cc parallel-twin engine, capable of delivering a robust 105hp at 9,250rpm and 87Nm of torque at 8,000rpm.

This engine setup not only promises thrilling performance but also maintains efficiency with a semi-dry-sump lubrication system and an active crankcase evacuation system, extending the service interval to an impressive 15,000km.

Vitpilen 801 Features And More

The motorcycle's technological features are equally impressive, with a 5-inch TFT display that facilitates navigation through various riding modes—Street, Sport, Rain, and Dynamic. Additionally, it comes equipped with a suite of electronic aids including a quickshifter, cornering ABS, and cornering traction control, enhancing both safety and performance. The Vitpilen 801 is supported by adjustable WP APEX suspension and rides on Michelin Road 6 tyres, providing a balanced and responsive handling experience.

Offered in two color schemes, the availability of the Vitpilen 801 in India remains uncertain. However, should it enter the Indian market, it is poised to compete against established models in the 800cc-1000cc category. This potential launch is anticipated with interest, as it could significantly alter the dynamics within the segment.

As the motorcycle market evolves, the introduction of models like the Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 mark significant milestones, reflecting the industry's shift towards integrating more sophisticated technology and design elements to meet the growing demands of riders.
