Honda Stylo 160 Scooter – Top Things We Know So Far
Honda recently revealed the new Stylo 160 scooter. If launched in India, the new Honda Stylo 160 scooter will compete against the likes of Yamaha Aerox 155, and the upcoming Hero Xoom 160.
That being said, the launch of the Honda Stylo 160 scooter will mark the expansion of the premium performance scooter segment in India. As such, here are the top things about the newly revealed Honda Stylo 160.
Starting with the design, the new Honda Stylo 160 wears a retro theme, which is very much unlike the outgoing Yamaha Aerox 155 and the upcoming Hero Xoom 160 scooters. Also, the Honda Stylo 160 looks very practical with conventional footboard, and decent-sized storage bins.
The Honda Stylo 160 also offers a range of colour options including Glam Beige and Royal Matte Black, with the latter likely hinting at a more premium variant which comes with ABS and attractive brown accents on the floorboard and seat cover.
Also, apart from the chunky-looking tyres, there is nothing on the Honda Stylo 160 scooter that shouts 'sporty'. In fact, the Honda Stylo 160 could easily fly under the radar as a 125cc scooter.
In terms of features, the Honda Stylo 160 comes well-equipped despite its retro design theme. Stand-out features include all-LED lighting, keyless start, and a choice between a Combi Braking System (CBS) and an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).
Under the seat, the Honda Stylo 160 packs quite a punch with its single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, delivering about 16bhp and 15Nm of peak torque. Given the output, we expect the Honda Stylo 160 to have good performance.
