Honda Stylo 160 Scooter Patented – India Launch, Powertrain, Features & More
Honda recently patented a new scooter in India. This newly patented scooter is the Stylo 160, which recently went on sale in Indonesia. We expect this upcoming scooter from Honda to be launched ahead of the festive season to capitalise on the sales push during this timeline.
Though the Honda Stylo 160 is a neo-retro scooter, thanks to its bigger 160cc engine, the upcoming Honda Stylo 160 scooter will directly compete against the Yamaha Aerox 155 when launched in India.

Coming to the design, the Honda Stylo 160, as mentioned is a neo-retro scooter, consisting of curvy body panels, and round mirrors. However, the Honda has managed to take things modern with hexagonal LED headlights, funky taillamps and sculpted seats.
Furthermore, the Honda Stylo 160 comes loaded with features such as Smart Key, digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, USV charging ports and much more. The Stylo 160 also comes with a choice of CBS and ABS braking technologies.

That being said, the Honda Stylo 160's party piece is its 156.9cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine in the Honda Stylo 160 puts out 15.2bhp and 13.8Nm of torque.
It is also worth mentioning that the Stylo 160 features more conventional 12-inch alloy wheels at the front and back. These tyres measure 110/90 and 130/80, respectively. Furthermore, the model comes with a decent ground clearance of 151mm and the seat height stands at a very manageable 768mm.
Furthermore, thanks to the large seats on the Honda Stylo 160 scooter, the model will not only be comfortable even for pillion riders, but it is also likely to sport a large underseat storage compartment as well.
Thoughts About The Honda Stylo 160
With the launch of the Honda Stylo 160 in India, we expect the performance scooter segment to take a significant leap forward. Also, thanks to its flat footboard and conventional design, we expect the Honda Stylo 160 to have more buyers compared to the sporty Yamaha Aerox 155.
