Recently, design patent images of the upcoming Honda Scrambler 350 motorcycle have been leaked online. These leaked patent images reveal plenty of interesting details about the upcoming scrambler motorcycle from Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI).

Design

Starting with the design, the upcoming 350cc scrambler motorcycle from Honda looks very simple and straightforward. However, there are a few design elements that make the motorcycle appealing to today's generation.

These design details include a split seat setup with a slightly raised pillion seat, slightly upswept exhaust, a long tail, thin front mudguards, a large chunky-looking fuel tank, and fork gaiters.

Hardware

We expect the upcoming Honda Scrambler to come with a telescopic suspension setup at the front and a twin shock absorber setup at the rear. Braking duties are likely to include a 310mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, supplemented by a dual-channel ABS unit. \

Engine & Gearbox

The upcoming Honda Scrambler motorcycle is likely to utilise the same tried-and-tested 350cc, single-cylinder engine as the Honda H'ness 350, and Honda CB350RS motorcycles. This engine is good for 205bhp and 30Nm of peak torque. The gearbox will be a 5-speed unit.

Competition

When launched, the Honda 'Scrambler 350' motorcycle will directly compete against the likes of Royal Enfield Scram 411, Yezdi Scrambler, and Triumph Scrambler 400X. That being said, we also expect Honda Scrambler to face stiff competition from other motorcycles with a price tag of Rs 2.5 lakh.

Thoughts About The Upcoming Honda Scrambler350 Motorcycle

With the launch of the upcoming Honda Scrambler 350 motorcycle, HMSI will be able to improve its sales figures in the 350cc category in India. Also, the launch of this motorcycle will give more options to prospective buyers in the segment.
